AGS PCR 1~In keeping with AGS’s policy, the PCR1 has been designed “By Airgunners For Airgunners” and its premise was simply to offer a pre-charged pneumatic for the price of a Springer. AGS commissioned the Logun engineers to achieve this goal and after some initial scepticism they attacked the task with relish. They stripped the concept of the PCP to its base components and started redesigning, re-engineering and even inventing as the concept became reality.~The heart of any PCP is the valving system and the engineers came up with a new style, less complicated, light and highly efficient design. The efficiency meant that the air reservoir could be made smaller and still delivers 50 shots in .22 (5.5mm) calibre. With a high carbon steel, precision rifled barrel and a crisp adjustable 2 stage trigger the PCR1 is a user friendly rifle to use. When this is combined with the two stunning stock design it isn’t difficult to see why the PCR1 is a user friendly rifle to use. They feature deep, accurate chequering and an adjustable butt pad.
AGS set out to make a PCP for the price of a springer – in fact they made an excellent PCP for the price of a springer.
