Webley & Scott Shotguns~
Webley & Scott is probably the oldest name in the UK gun industry, being able to trace its origins back to 1790 when William Davies started making bullet moulds in his small factory in Birmingham, England. There then followed almost two centuries of production of some of the most famous firearms the world has ever seen - the Webley revolver, W&C Scott shotguns, Webley rifles. In 1878 William Middleditch Scott designed and patented the first successful side-lock shotgun, this was manufactured under royalty arrangements by a number of firms including Holland & Holland. In 1985 the plant was sold to Holland and Holland. Now after an absence of two decades Webley & Scott shotguns are back. A perfect blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology, the new range of Over and Under and Semi Automatic shotguns are set to create a legacy of their own in the new millennium. We are very proud to offer these tremendous new firearms and revive such a historical name.

All Webley & Scott shotguns are proofed at the world famous Birmingham Proof House in Birmingham, England. This detailed process ensures that your shotgun is safe and legal to use.
Every Webley & Scott shotgun proofed at the Birmingham Proof House is awarded a beautiful, detailed certificate, shown below.
In the UK it is a legal requirement to have a shotgun proofed this is not the case in all countries but it will afford you peace of mind to know it has been proofed by experts
Proofing is done with 3" Magnum cartridges with lead shot and steel shot.

Guarantee;

All Webley and Scott shotguns are manufactured to the highest possible standards, using the finest materials, to give a lifetime of service. In the unlikely event of there being a defect in material or workmanship, at anytime within the lifetime of the shotgun. Webley and Scott undertake to repair or replace the shotgun (at Webley and Scott’s discretion). Warranty is only valid for the original purchaser of the shotgun and cannot be transferred to subsequent owners.

Please note: The warranty is invalidated if;

The shotgun has not been serviced by the Webley and Scott Service Centre or a Webley and Scott Approved Service Centre on the third anniversary of purchase and then every 2 years after that and the service record is incomplete.
The shotgun has been dissembled and incorrectly assembled
The shotgun is found to have lubrication not recommended by Webley and Scott
The shotgun has been fitted with non-standard parts
The shotgun has been misused or abused
The warranty card is not returned within 28 days of purchase

Please note: The warranty does NOT cover:

Forend or stock
Carry case
Any damage or faults caused by owner misuse or accidental damage.
Carriage costs of the shotgun to and from the Service Centre.
The warranty is in addition to your statutory rights in the country of purchase. To register for the Lifetime Warranty scheme the warranty card must be completed and returned to Webley and Scott or (if outside the UK) the Webley and Scott Authorised Dealer within 28 days of purchase.
