How does it work?

Canicom 200~Canicom 200 is an electronic dog collar training system designed specifically for a pet or small dog. With a range of up to 200m, it is appropriate only for relatively short line of sight training. Its relatively low power (up to level 9) impulse is suited to smaller dogs.

Canicom 200 Mild For very sensitive dogs Canicom 200 is also available in Mild. Canicom 200 Mild form impulse levels are reduced by 50% (Mild Level 5 is equal to Standard Level 1.)

Canicom 800~Canicom 800 is an electronic dog collar training system designed for larger dogs with a range of 800m. You can actually use Canicom 800 to train two dogs simultaneously by using an additional colour coded collar. With its long range, you can control your dog(s) from relatively far away. Its high power impulse (up to level 15) is adequate for most dogs, but for even more power and range you should consider Canicom 1500 (which can train 4 dogs simultaneously).

How Does It Work?

Canicalm
When the dog first barks, the collar detects the bark and emits a series of six sound beeps. If another bark is detected within 30 seconds, it emits a 2 second sound beep with an electrical impulse - weak or strong, as selected by the user. (No further impulses are emitted if no barking is detected for 30 seconds) Thus the dog associates this sensation with its barking and relates this to the fact it is wearing the collar. After a few days the electrical impulses can be disabled and the collar used to emit sound beeps only. Eventually the collar can be removed altogether. (As an alternative, a dummy collar can be used at this stage.) Canicalm is fully adjustable prior to fitting and can be set to suit individual dog’s bark characteristics. Electrical impulse strength can be set to either high, low or off.

Invisible fence~Overflowing with energy, your faithful companion does not always know his limits and can cause problems such as damage to flowerbeds, vegetable beds, running away, etc. But more seriously, he could be the cause or the victim of a road accident. Canifence is an ‘invisible’ dog fence which enables you to keep one or more dogs in complete freedom within a perimeter defined by you without the need for an ugly containment fence.

An unlimited number of receiver collars can be used with one perimeter wire so you can contain as many dogs as you wish safely in the same area. Canifence is adaptable to all types of terrain: open, wooded, hilly, fenced or unfenced.

Canifence works at full performance with up to 400 metres of wire

How does it work?
A discrete perimeter wire (up to 400m) is placed on the ground, buried or raised on an existing fence. This wire carries a signal from a small transmitter unit. The dog wears a discrete receiver collar that receives a signal when he approaches the perimeter wire.

When you dog first approaches the wire he enters the warning zone and is warned by a beep from the collar. As he gets closer to the wire he enters the correction zone and is corrected by small electrical impulses. As he leaves the area the impulses stop. After a few days, as the dog learns the boundary the electrical impulses can be reduced and the collar used to emit sound beeps only. Eventually the collar can be removed altogether. (As an alternative, a dummy collar can be used at this stage.)

Adjustments
Canifence can be tailored to any dog and any layout. The zones and electrical impulse strength are fully adjustable from the control unit as follows:
