Since then, Remington has been an industry leader in varmint rifle technology, bringing you its greatest innovations. It has always been a priority for Remington to listen, and respond to the needs of serious varmint hunters and benchrest shooters – and this gun proves it.

With deadly accuracy and swift handling, the Model 700 LV SF, is redefining the predator hunt. Based on the reliable Model 700 action, the Model 700 LV SF weighs a mere 6.75 pounds and features a stainless steel, short action, pillar bedded receiver; a blind box magazine; and a jeweled bolt. The 22-inch clean stainless steel barrel has a medium contour (0.657" muzzle O.D.) and is fluted to reduce overall weight and increase heat dissipation. Adding to the weight reduction is a custom designed, black Bell & Carlson composite stock featuring a semi-beavertail fore-end, swivel studs, and a recoil reducing, R3® recoil pad with Limbsaver® patented technology.

Remington Model 700 VSSF-2~Available 5/8" x 18~Built on the legendary Model 700 action, Remington Varmint rifles are well known for being our most accurate standard production rifles. The latest evolution of our Model 700 VS SF (Varmint Synthetic Stainless Fluted) continues this prestigious pedigree.

More than just a facelift, the new Model 700 VS SF II utilizes a redesigned H.S. Precision composite stock reinforced with aramid fibers. The textured stock is colored black with green webbing and features a contoured beavertail fore-end with ambidextrous finger grooves, palm swell, and twin front tactical-style swivel studs to accommodate both a sling and a bipod. Our unique full-length aluminum bedding block provides enhanced stability and consistent shot-to-shot accuracy.
Constructed of 416 stainless steel, the 26-inch heavy-contour (0.0820-inch muzzle O.D.), hammer-forged barrel features six longitudinal flutes for improved heat dissipation and additional weight reduction. The flutes are powder coated with a black finish for added visual appeal, while the rest of the barreled action is spin polished. The rifle is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and also includes a hinged floorplate magazine, a target-style concave barrel crown, and jeweled bolt.

Remington Model 700 VLS~Available with 5/8" x 18 Thread~The Model 700™ VLS (Varmint Laminated Stock) delivers tack-driving, varmint rifle accuracy with a handsome, resin-impregnated, laminated stock. Includes Monte Carlo cheekpiece, and a wide, flat, beaver tail shape fore-end for enhanced stability.

The rigid Model 700™ action is mated with a vibration-dampening 26-inch heavy varmint barrel. All metal has a richly blued, fine satin finish.
